Phyllis Kay Zuidema, 86, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Christian Church in Kevil.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Garland (Kevin) of Paducah; two grandchildren, Zach Garland (Jordan) of Murray, and Brittany Turpin (Jeff) of MO; five great grandchildren, Lilly Dean, Liam Turpin, Lilah Garland, Elyse Garland, and Lindy Garland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Albert Zuidema, Jr.; and her parents, Sherman “Bully” Lanier and Hallie B. Lanier.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery in Kevil.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to service time Monday at the funeral home.
