On February 3, at the age of 72, Randall L Browning went peacefully to join his Savior, Jesus Christ. He lived a simple life and earned a living as a millwright, a carpenter, and other skills.
He devoted much of his later life to mentoring and sponsoring those struggling with addiction. He had a deep understanding of the Big Book and frequently attended meetings, where he was always willing to reach out and help. As a result, dozens of people credit him with helping them maintain sobriety.
Randall was a charter member of Free Spirit Biker Church and was the first person baptized in that ministry. Early on, he was the recruiting officer and was often seen at the riverfront inviting people to church. His efforts were instrumental in the early success of the church.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and had a special love for his 1977 Shovelhead and was well known in the motorcycle community as “Shotgun”.
He is survived by three sons, Jesse, Lucas, and Wayne; and one sister, Beverly Bivens, all of Muhlenberg County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Marjorie Browning.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Free Spirit Biker Church.
