Roger Dale Barrett, 68, went to sleep in Jesus at 1:20 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Ky.
Roger was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Paducah Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Kristi Keeling Barrett; one daughter, Megan Danielle Barrett; one son, Nathaniel Dale Barrett; two grandsons, Isaiah Nathaniel Barrett, Elijah Alexander Barrett Cole; one granddaughter, Ellanora (Nora) Danielle Barrett Cole; two brothers, Philip (Terri) Barrett, Cary Barrett; one sister, Gena Barrett Durham; one brother-in-law, Keary (Cindi) Keeling; two sisters-in-law, Kim Keeling Payne, Vicki Minton Keeling; ten nieces, seven nephews; several great nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Barrett and Marilyn Kay Cox Barrett; one sister, Sherry Lynn Barrett; one nephew, Waylon Barrett and one great nephew, Landon Barrett; one brother-in-law, Keith Keeling; father-in-law, W.D. Keeling; mother-in-law, Donna Eddings Keeling.
A celebration of life/memorial will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah, with Pastor Christopher Trent and Pastor Kenny Shelton officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of the service.
