Ronnie Potter, 76, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Potter was self-employed as a construction worker, specializing in drywall and painting. He was an avid UK Wildcats basketball fan and also enjoyed bowling for many years. Ronnie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Potter of Paducah; two sons, Ron Potter (Jasmine) of Buford, GA, and Steve Leidecker (Kim) of Boaz; three daughters, Tammy Keeling (Billy) of Paducah, Gedget Quigley (Tom) of Paducah, and Amanda Roach (James) of Paducah; one brother, Gene Potter (Kacy) of Buford, GA; two sisters, Kay Whitman (Larry) of Paducah and Diann Copeland (Jim) of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Christopher Potter (Amber), Brittany Potter, Blake Potter, Kristin Potter, Austin Potter, Chelsea Potter, Josh Keeling, and Grayson Potter; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lineth Clay Potter; two sisters, Donna Sue Lane and Linda Potter; stepfather, Dennis Shupe; and nephew, Dennie Potter.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
