Ronnie Thomas Keeling, 79, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at his residence.
Ronnie worked as a mechanic for Torians Garage, was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War, and was a member of Christ Community Church in Paducah. He also worked in maintenance at Union Carbide, was a retired Pastor for First Apostolic Church in Draffenville, and was a black belt in karate. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ronnie’s nurses and professional case management, as well as Mercy Health Hospice.
He is survived by four sisters, Theresa Hicks (Ronnie) of Paducah, Debbie Bridges (Rodger) of Kevil, Margie Walton of Paducah, and Beverly Byrd of Perdido, AL; two brothers, Frankie Wallace of Sharpe and Rickey Wallace (Susan) of Fairdealing; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Ricky Thomas of Melber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Keeling; parents, Thomas Keeling and Mary Ann (Fayard) Wallace; one son, Ronnie Joe Keeling; and two brothers, Tommy Keeling and David Keeling.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Pastor Tim Turner and Pastor Jim Downey officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Park in Paducah with military graveside services.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
