Trudy Miatkowski, 93, of Paducah, passed away at 12:33 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Ms. Miatkowski was a floral designer and former owner of Trudy’s Flower Shop in Calvert City, KY, and a member of Jehovah’s Witness. She loved flowers, and especially loved to grow orchid plants.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Miatkowski of Paducah; one daughter, Rita Laszewski of Paducah; one sister, Erna Blanton of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Miatkowski; parents, Otto and Marie (Dibowski) Abramowski; and one brother, Horst Abramowski.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah with Rodney Hays officiating.
There will be no visitation.
