William E. “Butch” McNeill, Jr., of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell.
Mr. McNeill was a CPA and partner at Moffitt & Co PLLC. He was a member of Rolling Hills Country Club in Lone Oak, Moose Lodge 285 in Paducah, and Elks Lodge. He was also a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Ann-Meredith McNeill (Michael Copeland) of Bardwell; two sisters, Pam Paxton (Edwin) of Paducah, and Darlee Byrd (Tommy) of Paducah; nieces and nephews, Gena Miller, Jamie Byrd, Brad Paxton, and Ashley Paxton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. McNeill, Sr. and Imogene (Carpenter) McNeill.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to service time Friday at the funeral home.
