William Richard Baker, 77, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at his residence.
William was a retired Laborer for Local 1214, a deer hunter and fisherman, and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his partner and wife of 36 years, Donna Gilbert Baker; one son, Kevin Baker (Sarah) of Boaz; one daughter, Kimberly Baker Starks (Brad) of Paducah; five grandchildren, Alyssa Speer (Jake), Camden Baker, Hunter Baker, Jada Starks, and Alex Reed, all of Paducah; two great grandchildren, Easton Speer and Sophia Reed; two nephews, Jared and Cody Baker; one niece, Christi Taylor; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Baker; mother, Chlotene Owens Baker; and one brother, Donnie Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Jared Baker and Bro. Jonathan Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Carters Mill Cemetery in Symsonia.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2026, and from 9:00 am to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
