Brian A. Maynard, 43, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.  He was born on September 14, 1982 in Murray, KY to Danny and Donna Maynard.  Brian graduated from Marshall County High School in 2000 and went on to Murray State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication in 2004.
Brian Maynard’s life was certainly filled with accomplishments, but those who knew him best would tell you that what made Brian extraordinary was not simply what he achieved—it was who he was to the people around him.  Brian was brilliant. He was successful. He was generous. He was hilarious. He was deeply loved. And above all, Brian loved fiercely.
From the time he was just 15 years old, Brian understood the value of hard work. He began his career at Rudolph Tire, where he quickly became far more than an employee. He became part of a family. Through dedication and a tremendous work ethic, Brian built a career he could be proud of. In 2020, he became President of Rudolph Freight.  The people of Rudolph Tire and Rudolph Freight were his family.
For so many, he was simply “Uncle Brian”.  When Brian cared about you, you knew it. There was nothing halfway about him.  Brian leaves behind people who are better because they knew him.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Danny Mayard; his grandparents; Jerry and Becky Miller and Rupert and Augusta Maynard and his mother in law, Carolyn Bebber.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his dedicated and loving wife, Takina Bomar of Murray; his mother, Donna Maynard of Murray; nieces and nephews, Makinlee Watters (fiancé, Drew Galloway) of Mary Esther, FL, Averie Crick of Dexter, Corbin Watters of Murray, Logan Crick of Dexter, Elliott Maynard of Paducah, Joshua Maynard of Paducah; mentor and father figure, Robbie Rudolph of Murray; sisters in law, Alex Maynard of Paducah, Ashley Crick (Darren) of Dexter, Wendy Watters (Ben) of Murray; father in law, Harold Bebber of Murray; the son he never had, Daniel Castorenia of TX; a brother, Michael Maynard.
A memorial service honoring Brian is set for 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Journey Church, 2314 Brinn Road, Murray, KY 42071.  Jerry Green and Robbie Rudolph will officiate.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Regional Cancer Center or Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, both at 803 Poplar Street, Murray, KY 42071.
