Franchesica "Franny" Humphreys

Mrs. Franchesica "Franny" Humphreys, 46, of Calvert City, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

Franchesica was born on November 10, 1979 in Mayfield, KY to Joseph and Sandra (Clark) Nicholas. She was a graduate of Marshall County High School, class of 1998 and went to to graduate from Madisonville Community College. She was an avid outdoors enthusiast and loved to spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father; a brother, Gary Lynn and a sister, Wendy Jo Hendon.

Those she leaves behind include her husband, Christopher Humphreys of Calvert City; her mother, Sandra Nichols of Marion, KY; two brothers, Jamie Gore of Benton, J.R. Hendon (Patrice) of Benton; two sisters, Virginia Lindsey (Steven) of Calvert City, Edith Mitchellson (Jamie) of Benton; nieces and nephews, Jessica Bryan (Kenneth) of Benton, Madison Stone (Jeremiah) of Wickliffe, Tyler Griggs (Cheyenne) of Benton, Kaula Henderson of Benton, Rebecca Culp of Paducah, Bobby Culp of Benton, Aaron Hendon of Benton; along with many great nieces and nephews.

Her family welcomes visitors from 4 PM – 6 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.
