Jerry Parrish

Mr. Jerry Hardin Parrish, 77, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his home.

Jerry was born to Charles and Bessie Phillips Parrish on March 13, 1947 in Calloway County.  He retired from Murray State University and was of Pentecostal faith.  Jerry also belonged to the "McDonalds Breakfast Club" of which he'll be dearly missed.

Preceding him in death are his parents; a sister, Janice McLean and a son in law, Neal Hamlett.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his loving spouse, Sandra Gail of Murray; two daughters, Debbie Addison of Murray, Kelly Hamlett of Tampa, FL; step sons, Ben and Chad Lyons of Murray; three brothers, Ricky Parrish (Jenny) of Murray, Charles Parrish (Kelly) of Buchanan, TN, Roger Parrish of Murray; two sisters, Carol Balentine of Murray, Patricia Morrison (James) of Murray; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a very special companion, Meow.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Temple Hill Cemetery with David Cunningham officiating.
