John F. Hill

Mr. John F. Hill, 81, of New Concord, KY, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at his home.

John was born to the late Paul and Ruby Bowman Hill on July 7, 1943 in Alum Creek, West Virginia.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He and his wife, Judy, managed the Cypress Cove RV Park, formerly known as Lakeview RV Park, for 15 years.  He loved the outdoors and especially fishing at Kentucky Lake.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Andres Hill and Penny Batinich as well as one sister, Linda Stowers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and partner of 30 years, Judy Hill of New Concord; a son, Shane Hill (Christina) of Stockton, CA; two daughters, Denise Underwood of Lodi, CA, Jayda Hill of IN; a sister, Sue Childress of WV and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Per his wishes, John chose to have no services but asks that you remember a fond memory of him, something he said or did, that made you smile.
