Raymond Bendel

Mr. Raymond M. Bendel, 82, of Murray, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Raymond was born on June 28, 1939.  After he proudly served his country in the United States Army, he started his career with the United States Postal Service and stayed there until retirement in 1986.  Mr. Bendel was an avid music lover.  He was a man who loved to tell a good joke, give a word of wisdom and adored his grandchildren.  Most importantly, Mr. Bendel loved the Lord.  He was a member of New Concord Church of Christ.

He is survived by three sons, Marty Branson and wife Lesa of Murray, David Bendel of Glen Carbon, IL, Fred Bendel of Perryville, MO; daughter, Valerie McNeely of Springdale, AR.

A memorial service is being planned.
