Sammie Tucker

Mr. Sammie K. Tucker, 64, of Almo, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Sammie was born on March 31, 1959 in Calloway County to Bobbie and Clara Wadkins Tucker.  He was a 1977 graduate of Calloway County High School and was a member of Hardin Baptist Church.  Sammie loved spending time on his computer and also flying RC planes and helicopters.  You'd never see Sammie without his thermos of coffee. Sammie retired from Parker Ford after 28 years as a detailer.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Tucker.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his loving wife of 31 years, Mrs. Laura Tucker of Almo; sisters, Danna Hutson (Gary Pat) of Hazel, Teresa Loveridge (Butch) of Benton and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Sammie Tucker is set for 11 am on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Imes Funeral Home.  Jordan Roach will officiate and burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers include, Justin Phillips, Morgan Hays, Marshall Hays, Don Hays, Dale Phillips.

His family welcomes visitors from 5 pm - 8 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the funeral home.
