Barbara Hopper

Barbara Hopper, 69 of Mayfield passed away peacefully September 8, 2026 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Barbara had a love for educating children academically and spirtually. She served as a teacher and principal for many years. Survived by two sisters Belynda Buchanan of Paducah. and Laura Allison of Mayfield . Two brothers, Michael Allison of San Diego, Ca. and Hal Allison of Staunton, Ill. Two nephews, Damon Buchanan, Jeremy Buchanan. One daughter Christa Lauran Hopper. Many great nieces and nephews Preceded in death by her parents Morris and Freida Allison and brother, Leroy Bentley. And sister Nona Colbert. Two nephews Andrew Buchanan and Brian Allison.
