Barbara N. Riley, 85, of West Paducah passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Barbara was a retired cook from the Paducah/McCracken County Senior Citizen Center and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Peggy (Harold) Marr, Billy (Debbie) Riley, and Penny Wilkey; grandchildren, Mahala (Mason) Crider, Samantha (Nathan) Collins, Michelle (Brett) Chambers; great-grandchildren, Haven and Jaxon Crider, and Bella and Briley Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Riley; her parents, Sanford and Dovie Metcalf; her son-in-law, Vernon Wilkey; one sister, Ruth Miller; and three brothers, Robert "Bob" Metcalf, Bill Metcalf, and Joe Metcalf.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ogden officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Casual clothes and blue jeans are encouraged by the family.
