David Allen Hopkins, 80, of Ledbetter passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Baptist Health Paducah.
David was the owner of Hopkins Landscaping and a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church. He loved to turkey hunt and deer. hunt in his free time.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Jeannie Hopkins of Ledbetter; one son, David Lynn Hopkins in Ledbetter; one brother, Ellis Hopkins of Ledbetter; and special friend, Lisa Hopkins of Ledbetter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Allen Hopkins; parents, Frank and Fennie Hopkins; four brothers, Carnie Hopkins, Charles Hopkins, Dennis Hopkins, Harold Wayne Hopkins; three sisters, Oma Roettis, Elsie Cooper, and Betty Jean Fondaw.
Graveside services will be at 3:00pm on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter with the Rev. Rodney Cude officiating. Burial will follow.
