David Anthony Trail, 66, of Ledbetter, Ky passed away on Saturday August 15, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah
Mr. Trail was born in Brook, Indiana on July 29, 1960. A 1978 graduate of South Newton High School, he lived the remainder of his life in Livingston County, Ky.
Mr. Trail was employed at James Marine / Paducah River Service for 35 years until his retirement in 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda Hall-Trail of Ledbetter; one son, Mark Anthony Trail, of Ledbetter; one half-sister; five half-brothers; his mother-in-law, Estella Hall of Smithland; three sister-in- laws; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Everett Trail and Carolyn Mae Agent; and one half-brother.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 1:30PM, at Lindsey Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery in Smithland, KY.
