Dolores Marie Abbott

Dolores Marie Abbott, affectionately known by many as Marie Knight, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2026. Marie was born in Connecticut on January 27, 1968. She traveled to numerous places throughout her life and was known and loved widely by many. At the time of her passing, she resided in the community of Paducah, KY. Marie touched many lives as she passed through this world and sprinkled her glitters of love and hope. She was a beautiful, quirky woman known to be a force of nature and a woman of extremes, as well as for her kind heart and inspiring spirit. Marie was hard-working and excelled at anything she put her energy into. She was a glimmer moment manifested; she absolutely sparkled. She is survived by her husband, Robert Abbott, her two daughters, Katelynn Oglesby and Hannah Knight, her granddaughter, Sa’Myah Knight, her brother, Conrad Siat and her mother, Marie Bills-Busson. She will forever be loved and carried in our hearts. The family invites all who knew and loved Marie to join us for a Celebration of her Life on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 5:00 pm as we share our stories, memories and love for her collectively.
