Ethel Mae Alvey, 88, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Ethel was a homemaker and member of Smithland Second Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and shopping at Dillard’s for purses and shoes.
Surviving is her husband of 34 years, Leon Alvey; three children, John L. Williams, Gene Thomas Boswell, Brenda Paisley; three stepchildren, Karla Avery, Amanda Jo Glenn, Chip Wilbourn Leon Jr.; four grandchildren, Nanette Williams, Nickki Williams, Crystal (Tony) Jennings, Amanda (Zach) Elrod; six great-grandchildren, Addison Martin, Riley Martin, Calista Jennings, Nevaeh Jennings, Aniyah Jennings, and Anola Jennings.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Robinson; stepdaughter, Kathie Alvey; brother, Charles Ballard; grandson, Daniel Eugene Williams; and son-in-law, Michael Paisley.
Private family services will be held with Rev. Tony Jennings officiating.
