Gerline Goodman

Gerline Goodman, 93 of Paducah, Passed away Sunday April 26, 2026 at Ray and Kay Hospice Care Center of Paducah. A lifelong member of Broadway Baptist Church....a Christian woman deeply rooted in her faith. She shared scripture, prayer and gospel singing while she played the piano in her home at family gatherings. She leaves a legacy of love for her family and friends. She showed her love for loved ones through her tasty, delicious cooking. Her desserts were the best and many of her meals prepared from scratch. Gerline is survived by her daughter, Sheila Goodman Crowell, grandson Chris Goodman, granddaughter Asheley Thomas, two great-granddaughters Morgan and Sasha, one brother Charles Robert Herrington, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James F. Goodman, son James Louis Goodman, her parents, one brother and two sisters. She and James celebrated nearly 72 years of marriage before his passing in 2021 (the love of her life). She graduated from Paducah Tilghman and was a member of the Broadway Baptist Choir and a soloist with the gift of a beautiful soprano voice. There will be no service at her request.
