Gregory Porterfield, 65, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mr. Porterfield liked to ride motorcycles, and he liked to work on them. He also liked fishing and car racing He owned Sweet Sweepers with his wife for 10 years in South Florida. He and his family moved to Paducah in June of 1994, where he went to work for Asbestos.
He survived by Tammy Nortz, Michael Rooney, Shelly Gonzales, and Kevin Rooney; his father, Frank Porterfield; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one nephew, Christopher Moland; and one niece, Kelly Moland.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Pamela Rooney; his mom, Jenn Porterfield; his brother and sister; and two grandsons.
There will be no services per his wishes.
