Jack Randall Perdew, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on June 5, 2025, at his home surrounded by his wife and family. Born June 4th, 1940, at home on Hendren Road to Frank W and Eva Lee (Hodge) Perdew.
Growing up in the Hendron neighborhood surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the fifth generation to attend Bellview Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized.
Jack went to the old Hendron Elementary School where he played basketball. He graduated from Lone Oak High School class of 59. During high school he played in a band called the Rockets, with his uncles, cousins and friends. Helping his dad work on cars for parts he managed to have several convertible cars, one being a pink one, popular during Elvis’s time.
Jack approached life with a mischievous grin and lots of energy. During his high school years, he worked at Bank’s Market working his way to becoming store manager. He enlisted in the army reserves 807 mash unit serving for 27 years and making rank of first sergeant.
He was a carpenter, millwright, and a member of Local Union 357 of Paducah. He was proud to have owned his business called Perdew Decorative Iron. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shiner.

Bradley Watkins, Tyler Perdew of Colorado, Jackson (Kipley)Perdew, Ty Story, Jace Story, Great granddaughter: Rowan Perdew. Sister: Geraldine (Mike) Buford, Niece: Diana Love, Nephews: Christopher (Sharon) Buford, Marcus (Renie) Buford
Preceded in death: 1St wife Rebecca Hays, Parents Frank and Eva Lee (Hodge) Perdew, Sister Mary M. Bryan, Grandson Cory Watkins
Celebration of life will be at a later date.
