James Wayne Blackman, 92, of Paducah died on Monday, December 8, 2025, at his residence.
James was a retired chemical operator from Westlake Chemical and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Annie Blackman; two children, Dwain Blackman and Lori Gratz; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Buford and Mamie Pearl Blackman; one daughter, Brenda Krug; and two brothers, Stanley Blackman and Bill Blackman.
Memorial services will be at 11:00am on Friday, December, 12, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Blandville, KY.
Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Lone Oak First Baptist Church Building Fund.
