Janet Sue Shinn, 69, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at her residence.
Janet was a retired office manager from the dental industry. She enjoyed shopping and cooking in he free time.
Surviving is her son, Jonathon (Amy) McGuire; three stepchildren, Noah Shinn, Joshua (Billie) Shinn, Jedidiah (Suzy) Shinn; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Barry) Fowler; and one brother, Michael (Paula) Young.
She was preceded in death by husband of 39 years, George Arthur Shinn; and her parents, Richard and Hattie Phillippe.
She will be cremated per her wishes and no services are scheduled at this time.
