Jim Breidenbach, 63, of Paducah passed away at his home in Paducah on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Jim was the Owner, Operator of Rail Switch Service of Paducah. Jim was a member of the ‘WKSCCA’. He was an avid car collector who tended to lean towards collecting Porsche’s (14 to be exact) and maybe a Ferrari too. His love of cars also spilled over into Motorcycles and Autocross. He filled his time with lots of traveling, boating, and fishing. But mostly Jim loved spending time with the ones he loved most of all in any activity.
Jim is survived by his children, Amber Clark of Paducah, Jessica Wooley of Paducah, and Daniel Breidenbach of Paducah; one sister, Laura Breidenbach of Paducah; one grandchild, Addison Clark; Life partner, Paula Winkler; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Wooley Breidenbach; parents, Collis Ford Breidenbach and Theda Stewart Breidenbach; siblings, Marcia Breidenbach, Karin Brown, Sandy Moore, and Don Lynn.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4 to 7pm at Lindsey Funeral Home for a Celebration of life visitation. Cremation will follow visitation.
