Jimmy Ray Studdard

Jimmy Ray Studdard, 67 of Shafter, Ca passed away May 3rd 2025, at 10:32am surrounded by his family, in his home in Paducah, KY.

Jimmy's passion was working on anything that was mechanical or had nuts and bolts. His favorite was tinkering with lawnmowers, and weed eaters, and things of that nature. For many years of his life he was a diesel mechanic in Buttonwillow California. But toward the end of Jimmy's career, he tried to take it a little easier as a forklift driver for a tomato plant in Buttonwillow, California as well until he retired at the age of sixty-two.

Jimmy then took a huge leap of faith and moved with his wife all the way to Paducah, Kentucky, where he would spend the rest of his days closer to his boys in Arkansas. And closer to his wife Sherry’s son and family who also live in Paducah.
Jimmy enjoyed barbecues, music and time with his family, and occasional beer.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sherry Studdard; children, Jimmy Studdard, Timothy Studdard and Dustin Studdard; Two sisters, Tammy Studdard and Georgette Studdard; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dwayne Studdard and Georgie Faye Baxter; five siblings, Linda Studdard, Sheila Studdard, Gayla Studdard, Donna Studdard, Johnny Studdard; and his Son Dwayne Studdard.

He will be cremated per his wishes and no services will be held.
