John Albert Smock

John Albert Smock, age, 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. John loved being a Registered Nurse in his community, he worked as a nurse for 25 years taking care of people in need. John was a family man who loved his family more than anything, he also loved his Four dogs. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by one daughter, Jessica (Tanner) Thomas of Paducah, Kentucky, Two sons Justin (Kara) Shoulta of Ledbetter, Kentucky, Tyler (Samantha) Shoulta of Paducah, Kentucky and his mother Carol Smock of Rosiclare, Illinois. Two brothers, James Howard (Tina) Smock Jr. of Golconda, Illinois. David Smock of Paducah, Kentucky, Five grandchildren Cooper Shoulta, Alivia Shoulta, Chandler Shoulta, Ryker Shoulta and Ender Shoulta. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his father, James Howard Smock, and his grandparents. Service for John will be held on a later date at his church in Rosiclare, Illinois.
