Johnny Ray McClintock

Johnny Ray McClintock, 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on July 27, 2026. Born on September 29, 1953, Johnny was a devoted husband of 38 years and a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was a proud union pipefitter with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184, dedicating more than 40 years to his trade. His strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment earned him the respect of everyone who knew him. Outside of work, Johnny was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Paducah, where he faithfully served on the church Property Committee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and vacationing in Florida, where he loved spending time with family and friends while relaxing on the beach. Of all the roles he held in life, the one he treasured most was being "Grandad." He rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his grandchildren at their sporting events and academic activities. His unwavering love, encouragement, and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Johnny is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa McClintock; his two daughters, Courtney Diaz and Kristen Courtney (Brian); his seven cherished grandchildren, Britton, Evah, Peyton, Camden, Avery, Finley, and Scarlett; mother-in-law, Royanne Freeman; brother-in-law, Mark Freeman; nephews, Todd McClintock and Chris McClintock; sister-in-law, Sandra McClintock; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Potter McClintock and Onita Vaughn McClintock; his brothers, Curtis McClintock and Billy McClintock; his sisters, Betty McClintock and Wanda Beita; and one infant brother. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the physicians and staff at Mercy Health Paducah-Cancer Center for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided to Johnny throughout his illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, located at 200 N. 7th Street in Paducah, Kentucky, with the Rev. Alexis Allum officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service.
