Kenneth Thomas “Tom” Prather, 80, of Smithland passed away on Wednesday, June 25. 2025, at Salem Spring Lake Nursing Home.
Tom retired from USDA as an inspector. He was a member of the VFW, Eagles Club, and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Surviving is his son, John Prather of Paducah; one brother, Jimmy Prather of Union City, two grandchildren, Holden Prather of Paducah and Trey Prather of Dixon, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brett and Mary Prather: and his son, Thomas Eric Prather.
Graveside services will be at 2:30pm on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Obion County Memory Gardens in Union City, TN.
Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
