Kimmy Cunningham

Kimmy Jean Cunningham, age 65, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Possum Trot, Ky. Kimmy was born on January 20, 1961, to late Doris Wilson and Kenneth Chesnut. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and niece. Who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kimmy had a deep love for her dog Charlie. She also loved to go camping and ride her mule with friends. Kimmy is survived by her daughters: Kendra (Shawn) James, and Tara (Jesse) Joiner, Kimmy was also a proud “MeMe” to her five grandchildren: KeAnna, Kaydee, Kendall, Emmy, Jolee. One sister: DeAnn Allen, one nephew Chris Allen, one stepbrother: Glen (Connie) New, one stepsister: Lynn (Kevin) Rodgers, one aunt: Ann Ramage, they all brought great joy to her life. Kimmy is preceded in death by her parents: Doris Wilson and Kenneth Chesnut, along with her stepmom: Ellen Chesnut. Graveside services will be held Monday March 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, Ky, friends and family are welcome to attend.
