Marjorie Rose Pawlikowski- Wede

Marjorie Rose Pawlikowski-Wede Marjorie Rose Pawlikowski-Wede, 93, formerly of New Columbia, Illinois, and most recently of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Marjorie spent more than 40 years in the New Columbia area before residing with her daughter in Paducah during her final years. Marjorie dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, where she faithfully served until her retirement. She was known for her compassionate spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was born to the late Harold and Pauline Schermeister and was preceded in death by her siblings, Leo Schermeister, Paul Schermeister, and Dorothy Schermeister. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Wede, and her second husband, Frank Pawlikowski. Marjorie is survived by her children, Diana Wede, Donald Wede, Douglas Wede, and Daniel Wede; her grandchildren, Jessica Wilson, Douglas Wede Jr., and Aaron Wede; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Mathew Thomas, MacKenzie Talandis, Morgan Sutton, Melanie Winstead, Jacob Wede, Hannah Wede, Kelsey Wede, and Ari Wede. Great,great grandchildren Eliza Talandis and Willow Talandis. Marjorie found joy in gardening, yoga, spending time in nature, and dancing. She cherished her family and treasured every opportunity to gather with those she loved. Her kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
