Mary R. Nichols

Mary R. Nichols, age 67, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 9:03 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. Mary was a dedicated realtor in the Paducah area for over 33 years. She was deeply committed to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Paul J. Nichols; two daughters, Christy (Jeff) Woodall and Kelly (Bill) Derington, both of Paducah; and four grandchildren: Kayli Poll, Nathan (Karli) Poll, Dylan Derington (fiancée Halen Anderson), and Jenna Derington. Mary is also survived by one brother, Danny Wallis, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbern Wallis and Artie Nelson; two sisters, Doris Beavers and Joann Noles; and two brothers, Michael Wallis and David Wallis.
