Nellie Whitledge

Nellie Pearl Whitledge, age 87, went to be with the Lord on January 15th, 2026, at Passion and Purpose in Murray, Ky. Nellie had a strong faith in GOD that was unwavering, she was a very caring lady who loved Listening and Supporting others thru the Good Times and the Bad. Family was so important to her that Family Reunion Day became her Favorite Holiday of the year. She worked alongside the love of her life to raise a family and build a business from the ground up in the Scale Industry. In her later years, she loved listening to books on tape and Working Puzzle Books. Nellie is survived by her daughter: Sandy Moss, one son: Randy Whitledge, a grandson: Matthew Moss, a granddaughter: Paige Whitledge, a great grandson: Benson Moss, and a great granddaughter: Whitlee Ray, and several nieces and nephews. Nellie is preceded by her parents: Samuel and Nina McClain, a husband of 58 yrs. James Harold Whitledge, and six brothers: Curtis McClain, Jack McClain, Frank McClain, Morris McClain, George McClain, Bobby McClain. The family would like to give a special Thanks to the staff and Residents at Passion and Purpose, who loved on her, pampered her and spoiled her, Especially Cindy. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Chairity of your choice. Graveside services will be Tuesday January the 20th at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Paducah.
