Paula Rhea, 74, of Morganfield passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Deaconess Hospital in Henderson, KY.
Paula was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved flower gardening and having picnics at the park.
Surviving is her former spouse, Raymond Cope of Morganfield; three sons, Morris Rhea II, Joseph (Shannon Colburn) Rhea, James Rhea; three siblings, Sharon Cross, Michael Cross, Susan Perry; five grandchildren, Gary Dean Dowdy, Kristen Rhea, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Rhea, Timmy (Brylee) Rhea, Josh Rhea; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Purcell and Ivy Berry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Byrd and Learly Watson; and her stepfather, Jim Watson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. David Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery in Melber.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
