Peggy J. Fairfield

Peggy J. Fairfield, 78, of Brookport, IL passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN. Peggy was a member of Bridge Church of God and had a strong Christian Faith. Peggy is survived by her husband: Roy Dale Fairfield of 56 years, one son: Roger Dale (Glenda Faye Fairfield, three grandsons: Joshua Ray Fairfield, Jacob Ryan Fairfield, Grayson Kaylor, a brother in-law: Jimmy Galbraith. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ross Burrus & Lilian Burrus, three brothers: Donnie Burrus, Jimmy Burrus, Jackie Burrus, three sisters: Norma Varvel, Ann Harris, Gail Galbraith. Visitation will be held on Friday February 6th, 2026, from 5pm – 8pm at the Bridge Church of God. Funeral service will be held on Saturday February 7th, 2026, at 1pm at the Bridge Church of God with Bro. Charles Tate officiating the service Burial will follow in the Otterbien Cemetery in Pope County.
