Peggy Sue Edmonds, 89, of Ledbetter passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her residence.
Peggy was a retired school teacher and administrator from Livingston County School District where she served for over 27 years. She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church. She was an avid UK Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinal Fan. She also enjoyed traveling and fishing.
Surviving are two children, Pam Baker of Ledbetter and Jeff (Cynthia) Edmonds of Ledbetter; one sister, Polly Vincent of Greenville; and four special children she looked after, Victoria Potter, Riley Taliaferro, Carson Taliaferro, and Karly Taliaferro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Edmonds; her parents, T.B. and Ethel Bandy; and two siblings, Tommy Bandy and Becky Shutt.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, December, 27, 2025, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Cude and Rev. Chad Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Edmonds Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
