Peggylynn Knoblich

Peggy Lynn Knoblich, 74 of Paducah, passed away Friday July 24, 2026 at her home She entered this life June 13, 1952, the daughter of Milton and Peggy (Minnick) Horschler in Joliet, IL. Peggy was joined in marriage to the love of her life, Elliott Read Knoblich on November 23, 1991. Mrs. Knoblich worked in offices most of her life, later in life her and her husband owned a bait shop in Wilmington, IL for several years until they retired and moved to Rockway Beach, Missouri. She taught Sunday School for 8 years at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Joilet, IL. She was very active in the churches where she lived. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and time spent at Braiwood Recreation Club with friends and family. She is survived by seven children, Belinda (Kevin) Coley of Minooka, IL, David (Laura) Knoblich, Donald (Maraicel) Knoblich, Jason Knoblich, Jennifer (Wade) Fronsee, Andria (Mike) Breen, and Julie Knoblich; three grandchildren, Timothy (Jessica) Thompson of Minooka, IL, Alexandra (Billy) Taylor of Paducah, KY, Shania Coley of Minooka, IL; thirteen bonus grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Knoblich; one daughter, Dawn Knoblich, and one brother, William "Billy" Duffus. She will be cremated per her wishes. Cremation Society of Paducah is honored to service the Knoblich family.
