Sharon Barton, 81, of Lynnville passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, of Calvert City Convalescent Center with her family by her side.
Sharon was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved shopping, reading, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her three children, Terry (Jill) Barton, Tracy (Robin) Holmes, Tim Barton; two siblings, Barb James and Howard (Mary) Sturd; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Barton; one infant son; her parents, Bernard Sturd and Gertrude Sturd; and two brothers, Merle Sturd and Herb Sturd.
Memorial services will be at 11am Monday, June 2, 2025 at Sedalia Baptist Church with the Rev. Spence Pate officiating.
She will be cremated per her wishes.
