Sherry R. Knight

Sherry R. Knight, 59, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3:56PM at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital. Sherry was surrounded by her family when she peacefully took her last breath. Sherry was born on July 5, 1966, in Benton and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and served as a school bus driver for many years in McCracken County. Sherry is survived by her husband of eight years, John Knight; daughters, Jessica Bouland and Sherece Sullivan; a granddaughter; mother, Patricia Harper; brother, Eddie Doughty and wife Dawn; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Sherry is preceded in death by her father, Edward Doughty; paternal grandparents, A.L. Sr. and Sarah Doughty; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mildred Pierce; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9:00AM-10:00AM at Lindsey Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will follow.
