Tammy Jean Patton

With great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Tammy Jean Patton, 66, of Metropolis, IL. Tammy passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her siblings, Jayne (Gary) Record, Dawn (Larry) Durham, Lynne (Randy) Patton- Schlake, Riley (Leitha) Patton; eleven nieces and nephews who were her heart; and her partner, Bob Carr. Tammy also left behind her precious dog, Capi.

Tammy worked as a registered nurse for forty years. She put her heart and soul into taking care of people, whether she knew them or not. Her compassion for and acceptance of people was obvious to all those who were lucky enough to know her.

Tammy, we will miss you, your fierce love for your family has made us all better people.

We find comfort in knowing Tammy’s legacy lived on through the unconditional love she showed all of us and through the memories we all share. We love you Tammy Jean and don’t you ever doubt it.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Lutheran Church of the Cross with the Rev. David Deem officiating.

Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to service hour at the church.
