Following a courageous and defiant battle with cancer, Tammy passed with the same grit and grace that defined her entire life. Born on July 17, 1967, to Jim and Martha York, Tammy was a woman built on a foundation of loyalty. She was deeply devoted to her family, maintaining a profound and lifelong bond with her parents and her grandmother. Hard work and many pleasures Tammy was the definition of “hardworking”. She spent many years serving her community as a Central Sterile Processing Technician, lending her skills and colleagues knew her as a dedicated professional who kept spirits high with her sharp sense of humor. When Tammy wasn’t at the hospital, Tammy found her peace in the outdoors. She took great pride in her home, finding a unique quietude in gardening and mowing the lawn.
