Theon Hicks

Theon Hicks, 91 of Paducah passed away October 11, 2025 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation after brief illness. Theon Edith Hicks was born on May 28, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Edith Hill and Theodore Leonard. She loved and lived life to the fullest no matter what was in front or behind her. She had a passion for music, especially gospel. She had a beautiful voice for singing whether at Church or at home. She had a knack for jewelry in which she was a salesperson at DeBeer’s Diamonds and Walmart jewelry departments. She loved to cook different foods that would make people clean plates. She was full of laughter and stayed full of energy despite having aches and pains here and there. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954 and was basketball queen. She is survived by her children Marta Hicks Farmer and Daymon Hicks and granddaughter, Jacqlene Farmer. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday October 18, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home. With funeral services to follow at 12 noon. The Sister Armaderest Branagan officiating.
