Tom Bates, 59, of Paducah passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Mercy-Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Tom worked for Coad Toyota in the maintenance department. He was a drummer and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Surviving is his wife of 11 years, Renikka Bates of Paducah; three children, Samantha (Adrian) Cessna, Hunter Albin, Michael Stewart; three grandchildren, Zarek Barnard, Finley Barnard, Caiden Stewart; one sister, Janet Krebs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Joan Bates; and one sister, Lorie Adam.
He will be cremated per his wishes.
