Tom Morgan

Thomas “Tom” Wayne Morgan 81 of Paducah, KY passed away at his home during his sleep on January 11, 2026. Born in Paducah, KY on June 7, 1944, to the late Hosea and Frances Morgan (Roland) was a retired Professional Jeweler who started his career with Michelson Jewelers headquartered in Paducah. Tom traveled the world while perfecting his skills in his profession, making many friends along the way. On retirement he returned to his hometown of Paducah with his wife Dorothy (Dottie) Jean Morgan (Clark). Tom was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and Murray State University, where he forged a lifelong friendship with Louis Michelson. In 1970 Tom married Dottie and together raised 2 girls, Chandra Renee and Ashley Jean. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Dorothy (Dottie) Jean Morgan (Clark), his children Chandra Rene Guill (Jeffery) and Ashley Jean Troegel (Bryan), grandchildren Matthew Thomas Morgan, James Allan Baird, Julia Troegel, and Virginia Troegel, his brothers Kevin Morgan and Richard Morgan. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Hosea and Frances Morgan (Roland), his sister Susan Paris, and his grandson Charles Forrest Baird. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Tom Morgan Memorial Fund C/O Oak Grove Baptist Church 2945 Oaks Rd Paducah KY 42003.
