William “Bill” Logan, 92 years old of Paducah, KY passed away comfortably Dec 3rd, 2025, at Ray and Kay Center of Paducah, KY Bill was born in Smithland, KY March 5, 1933, to Cora and Irving Logan they later moved to Caven in Rock, IL where he grew up. Bill was drafted into the Navy, Seabees Division. Bills troop were construction, engineering for the Military operations and Front-Line Combat. Bill made his home in Paducah, KY in 1972 with his wife and three children. He was active in the community with local kids with baseball and basketball programs. He loved the Veterans Day Parade every year in Paducah. He’d gather other Veterans and they would walk or ride in the Parade. He was also a member of the American Legion Bill is survived by his Two daughters: Paula Matney of West Paducah, KY Christy Benifield of Benton KY, and One son: Danny Logan of Atwood TN, Four grandchildren: Christopher Tharp, Bryce Benifield (Savanah), Chasity Helm (Josh), and Abigail Matney. Eight great- grandchildren: Kenedi Colson (Bronson), Exavier Tharp, Gabriel Tharp, Cami Tharp, and Alexis Tharp, Charlie Benifield, Chase Helm, Owen Helm. Two great- great grandchildren: Tyler John Colson, Hayden George Closon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Irma Logan his parents, Cora and Irvin Logan, Two sisters: Margie Reed, Kathleen Reed. Services for William “Bill” Logan will be held at a later date.
