Alice Brantley, 77, of Marion, Illinois passed away at 6:14 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Charter Senior Living in Paducah, Kentucky. She was born on June 6, 1948 in Madisonville, Kentucky to the late George E. Carneal and Marietta Overton Carneal. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion, Illinois. She was a retired Beautician and made Arts & Crafts. Alice was a shining example of love, kindness, and compassion, treating family and strangers with equal warmth and generosity. As a grandmother, she showered her grandchildren with unconditional love and devotion. With grace and radiant smile, Alice devoted her life to serving others.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Wayne Brantley; daughter, Wesley (Jeff) Robinson of Kevil, Kentucky; son, Jason (Jennifer Costabile) Brantley of Carbondale, Illinois; four grandsons, Chase (Adia) Noles, Jake Brantley, Ethan (Jadan) Noles and Cade Brantley.
Alice was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Cash and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Nate Hillenbrand officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
