Anna Lou Millay, age 87, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:58 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Providence Pointe.
Anna Lou was born on October 25, 1938, in Graves County, Kentucky, to William Wesley McManus and Lena Cunningham McManus. Anna Lou worked in retail for 18 years at Walmart as a clerk. She was a long-time faithful member of Bethel Tabernacle Church and attended as long as she was able. Anna Lou’s hobbies included shopping, board games with family members, and singing. Anna Lou loved to travel and was able to travel in all states except Alaska and Hawaii. Anna Lou’s several Caribbean Cruises with family were always special to her.
Survivors include three sons, John L. (Julie) Millay Jr. of Utica, Kentucky, Ronny Dale (Wendy) Millay of Boaz, Kentucky and David Keith Millay of Nicholasville, Kentucky; one sister, Debbie (Troilus) Thorning of Ledbetter, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Alicia (Dewayne) Waltrip, Andrew (Jennifer) Millay, Ben (Emily) Millay, Jerad (Amanda) Millay Amber Millay (Matt) Brosmer, Cody Ward and Christian Millay; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were husband, John L. Millay, two sisters, Elsie Davenport, Sue Swatzell; two brothers, Larry Thomas McManus and William Wesley McManus Jr., and her parents.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Brother Bob Grisham officiating. Burial will follow at the Clarks River Cemetery in Symsonia, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
