Attil A. 'Bud' Pasquini, 84 of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Bud was born on January 10, 1942, in Albany, New York, to the late Attil A. Pasquini Sr. and Helen Ann Ryan Pasquini.
Bud dedicated 39 years of his life to Bell South as a Cable Splicer before his well-deserved retirement. His commitment to excellence in his profession was paralleled only by his active involvement in the Communications Workers of America union, where he advocated for the rights and well-being of his peers with unwavering dedication.
Bud was of the Catholic faith. His personal interests were as varied as they were passionate. Bud was a true craftsman, relishing the time he spent working with wood. Likewise, automobiles were not just modes of transport to Bud but complex puzzles that he loved to solve. He took great joy in maintaining and tinkering with his own collection of cars. Travel was another of his joys. Bud's adventurous spirit led him to explore new cultures, sights, and experiences. Last but certainly not least, Bud was an ardent lover of animals, with a soft spot for the dogs and cats he opened his home to throughout his life. They were more than pets; they were family, loyal companions that filled his house with joy and liveliness.
Bud is survived by his daughter, Jenny Polian and her husband, Dennis of Woodway, Texas; six sons, Nicholas A. Pasquini and his wife, Michelle of Parkville, Missouri, Ronald M. Pasquini of Tucson, Arizona, Richard Pasquini and his wife, Maureen of Guilderland, New York, Michael Pasquini and his wife, Sharon of Berne, New York, Joseph Pasquini and his wife, Gina of Guilderland, New York, and Christopher Pasquini and his wife, Deborah of Guilderland, New York; fourteen grandchildren, Andrew, Ella, Finnegan, Miller, Samantha, Timothy, Vincent (Laura), Anthony (Mackenzie), Jake, Cole, Amanda, Joseph (MariaJose), Jason and Michael; four great-grandchildren, Dominic, Hadley, Mabel and Riley; his significant other, Caroletta S. Schneck of Paducah, Kentucky; his brothers, and sisters, John-Jack Pasquini of North Greenbush, New York, Margaret (Jay-James) Devey of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Helen Nolan of Delmar, New York, James (Donna) Pasquini of Coeymans, New York, and Robert (Eileen) Pasquini of Delmar, New York.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Nancy I Pasquini; a sister, and her husband, Katherine and Robert Faas; a sister, and her husband, Mary Beth ‘Bee’ and Michael Otis; a sister-in-law, Susan Pasquini; and a brother-in-law, Frank Nolan.
