B. Lou (Watson) Williams, affectionately known as Lou by her loved ones, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah at the remarkable age of 80 years old.
Lou's work ethic was inspiring. She dedicated years of service to USEC, where she retired, and her impact was felt by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Lou also worked as a waitress at Cracker Barrel for 18 years, where she served up warmth and joy just as eagerly as she did meals.
A spunky soul with a hearty laugh, Lou was devoted to her family. She poured her heart into nurturing hearty relationships with all her relatives, taking care of their needs. Lou loved sports and was skilled at golf. She not only cheered for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and the St. Louis Cardinals, but she also coached them loudly, shouting out instructions to the players on the screen. The energy she poured into each game displayed her passion for the games and the teams she loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Monda (William) Copeland of Paducah; two sons, William Edward (DeAnna) Hill of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Warren Dale Hill of Mayfield, Kentucky; three sisters, Sue Talley of Pekin, Illinois, Elaine (Carl) Baker of Dwight, Illinois, and Linea Zeilman of Larue, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Edward Watson and Cordie Marie (Overby) Watson; two sisters, Elinor Dockery and Mary Elizabeth Carman; and five brothers, Carl Neil Watson, Billy Joe Watson, Robert Melvin Watson, Albert Wayne Watson, and Alan Ray Watson.
A funeral service will be held at 12 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Stan Durrett officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and continue until the service starts at 12:00 P.M.
